Description

Now on the second book of the Dragonlance Legends trilogy, titled War of the Twins. The Highlord in the night blue dragonscale armour turned upon hearing her name. Tanis could see her brown eyes widen in astonishment beaneath the hideous dragonmask she wore. He could see the fiery eyes of the male blue dragon turn to gaze at him as well. "Kitiara!" Tanis shouted. Shaking off his captors with a strength born of desperation, he dove forward again. But draconians in the crowd flung themselves on him, knocking him to the ground, where they held him pinned by his arms. Still Tanis struggled, twisting to look into the eyes of the Highlord. "Halt, Skie," Kitiara said, placing a gloved hand commandingly on the dragons neck. Skie stopped obediantly, his clawed feet slipping slightly on the cobblestones of the street. But the dragons eyes, as they glared at Tanis, were filled with jealousy and hatred. This is Kitiara and her blue dragon Skie. Kitiara is described as having short brown curly hair, big brown eyes and a crooked smile. She wears blue dragonscale armour. She is sister to Caramon and Raistlin and rival to Laurana for the affections of Tanis Half-Elven who finds himself torn between these two women. Kitiara is a seductive, manipulative and dangerous character and provides a striking contrast to the innocence and purity of Laurana. I must give my thanks to everyone who has left comments on my Dragonlance images here at Renderosity, especially the fans of the books who know these characters and have said such kind things. Superb imagery! I LOVE the way she is looking off to her right and her expression. And the dragon looks like such a gentle companion to her. Fabulous textures too. Awesome!
