Description

It has that quintessence of Italy. What faces and expressions! I love it so much, that with hope someday I can be them. Best part is there's a really great food scene for the last 5000 years at least. Romans called Bologna, "the Fat"! Today you can go to a world-class Salumeri and snag some of the world's best lard, porcini mushrooms, Parmigiano and some Speck. Now, how many of you can do that, without driving or using the 'net? What a wonderful image. They're all so engaged! You know, differences in culture are fascinating. I looked at those men and thought, "retired cops." It's the jackets. Off-duty cops in this area always wear windbreakers or some other sort of loose jacket to hide their shoulder holster. Either jackets for men are de rigeur there, or there's an ex-Seattle-cop convention going on in Italy! :)
