Description

Another pic from my travels in France this summer, this chapel is in the grounds of Chateau de Roquetaillade. It was a bit of an overcast day and the colours didn't really lend it anything so I decided to see how it looked in b&w and much preferred the result. The chapel I'm afraid I can't remember too many details about anymore as I was more concerned with translating for my sister (who doesn't speak French) and making sure she understood, rather than taking it all in myself! I do however remember that the current resident family and families throughout its history have used the chapel for weddings, funerals, and baptisms alike. There were some amazing paintings and tapestries in there, though I only managed one grainy, cheeky shot before being told off for no photography (definitely not worth posting..) It only made up a small part of the tour but I liked its isolated setting and went back to take this pic when it had ended. Thanks for your comments and continued support, have a great day! Adam
