Description

Early morning shot showing small commercial fishing boats safe at their moorings. But contrast the apparent calm in the foreground with the waves crashing onto the breakwater at left center. Zoom for best viewing. Thanks for all your recent comments and to those of you who selected favorites from my last several postings. Bill Location: Cape Porpoise, Maine, late September 2008.

You have to view full size to really appreciate the difference. Looks so peaceful but what's to come. This really is a great moment you've captured Bill.

Impressive ! It's actually the colour of the sky that spells "storm", and then the wake in the background. P

I love the way water finds its own excitment - like it does here. Towering on one spot, gentle in another. Love the pov on this one and the excellent composition.

Run for the hills! Isn't that typical of an approaching tsunami? Fine gray mood effects in this neat composition, Bill.
