Glad to see you back Mark, hopefully without germs. Everyone of them could not be this nice and together with that, have a studio of it's own. Continue to heal now my friend!!

I must agree with Mina on this one Mark as this is simply adorable and gave me a smile to start my day. I've been so worried about you my friend so please be careful on your return and don't push yourself too hard

Hey, glad to know that you're on the mend! And such a delightful image to boot. Without that one little line you'd have lost tension/balance but you have it there in it's place - good humor and that delicate touch; I've missed these images. ~tim

First off, I was immediately drawn to the title of this image...mention the word "germ" and I'm all over it...especially if there's a kind of "Conan the Bacterium" sort of character involved--I didn't actually come up with that name, it's the nickname of a little germ that can survive high radiation levels and other extreme environments...but anyway, enough of that. This is a fantastic image, I love the simple, elegant approach to it, and the humor that is evident as well. For me, art is always about things that are pretty and nice to look at, but also about...well...a germ and his studio, and things that are not commonly contemplated. There is a spiritual quality to this as well--something that strikes me as Zen-like in the spareness of the visual input, along with the wealth of emotional, psychological, spiritual, and more subliminally sensual information; the textures and empty spaces here play around and through an interesting tension, and I absolutely agree with november22 on that...that single line enhances the ENTIRE piece, beautifully.
