What a wonderful result for a PS student... lol... No, seriously, this is great Martin. I have done this before. To make the edges of top image slightly softer so it doesnt look like it was stuck on (and I'm not saying yours does), you can try a small brush and the blur tool and just blur the edges slightly. I find that gives a perfectly natural look. :)
