I HAD NEVER SEEN A KINGFISHER NEVER MIND GOT A PHOTO OF ONE, SO I WAS DETERMINED TO COME HOME FROM MY BOATING HOLIDAY IN MAY CONTENT WITH SEEING ONE. I WAS FORTUNATE TO BE UP FRONT WITH MY CAMERA WHEN I SAW THIS LITTLE BEAUTY. THIS IS MY FIRST AND BEST SHOT I GOT OF ONE, I WILL BE POSTING SOME OTHERS THAT I CAUGHT. THEY ARE SO DIFFICULT TO GET, THEY ARE SECRETIVE, BLOOMING QUICK AND PREFER DARK AREAS OF THE CANALS..
