I received an email this morning from Dirk's cousin Mark, Dirk passed away this early morning and was in no pain.
I am grateful that he is no longer suffering. For those of you that know Dirk from his contributions here on Renderosity, you know that he was a highly diversified artist. He shared his fight and you probably took a trip with him these past two years as he battled his dragon.

A perfect tribute. His courage through his war with Cancer always gave me strength. I am very saddened that his lost the battle. He was an inspiration to me.

Beautifull tribute - know i didn't know of this artist - but that doesn't take away the feeling of loss as i feel every time i hear this about one from rosity - my sincere condolences to his family and friends.
