Description

As I was watering in my greenhouse yesterday, I looked down and saw that one of my orchids is loaded with new spikes. They're a miracle since they bloom this time of year. I get to have these gorgeous flowers in my house in the middle of winter!!

You are so lucky! orchids! I'd kill them in a heartbeat. That's why I gave up trying to grow them. I was holding an orchid funeral every week for some time.

the sense of color is fantastic here...everything is so bright, but not washed out! I love that measure of light/color control. The shapes are intriguing as well, and like everyone else, I'm looking forward to seeing more of these as they grow and bloom. I have never tried, but I hear orchids are notoriously hard to grow, but I'm sure you'll have zillions of long-term blooms!
