Description

Hello All!! Every year I go to Michigan on my summer vacation , and always the first day I come in we always walk to this light house in (St Joe /silver beach). I have never seen it look the same . Always with its magic and reminder of my early childhood it moves me with it's changing mood and peaceful beauty! I never get tired of shooting it . One year when I went back in '05 its rails were lit up with this brilliant shimmering glow- I keep looking for that same golden shimmer I saw that day and never find it but do find new surprises awaiting there . Last year it was overcast but Chrissy found a turtle here and I met lake surfers! This year , these glorious rays of light were pouring down upon scores of sail boats that were returning as a summer storm approached... There was a couple walking toward me (it started to rain at that point) and I pointed to the sky to show my Mom and then the couple turned, looked up at the sky as if on cue kissed so romantically ~!- that's when I shot this here...( whispers I don't think they knew i took them kissing ) I have been playing with this in PSP one for a while now to draw it out I think I should put it up before I seriously over do it ... ( if its not overdone already LOL!!! )_ hope your not sick of seeing this lighthouse in my gallery ( well it has been a year now )!... Thank you for your time and comments!! Love to all] ((( BIG HUGS ))) ~ Kimmers ♥ :O)

Interesting story, I wonder how I would capture some of my holiday places if I went back. The image has the feeling of an old hand toned postcard, attractive.

this is so nice. i lost my mother last month. we took her up the coast of california, a place called moonstone beach, the hearst memorial pier..(you may know it...your from the cali area, high desert), and the pier we layed mom to rest is much like this. my wife and i were the only ones there early in the morning, a foggy, dark misty morning. there is no fog but this image so reminds me of mom. i miss her alot. this is very nice. thanks for this.

Wunderschönes Bild! Schade, das man das Bild nicht größer zoomen kann. Aber trotzdem, super!

I really like that light house and you did a great job with it. I'm with you some times it is hard to know if there is more to do or you have done enough. But once again this is great.
