Lots of aileron but not much empennage. Not for crosswind carrier landing that is sure. Likes updrafts.

Nope, the real plane is actually like that. (The plans, photos, and museum examples aren't that far off in appearance.) It's quirky proportion-wise, but that's early pre-WWII design for ya. If it seems extreme, perhaps the camera angle setting I use for modeling exacerbates it.
