Description

This was taken a few weeks ago just moments after sunrise on Pensacola Beach, Florida. The light was extremely defused since the sun was just barely above the horizon. I love the glow it casts on this tiny white shell. And it is a tiny shell, but look at that golden spiral mini-shell to the right! Those "rocks" next to it are actually grains of sand. Kind of puts things in perspective! When taking the photograph I didn't even notice the tiny golden shell. I was lucky enough to even spot the white one. Being 6'4'' it was just a tiny speck as I strolled on the beach sand that wonderful late summer morning. So much we don't even see. But those worlds are just as profound as the ones we do. Sometimes even more so. marshall
