Hi @ all.
My latest piece. Done for the Attrius Alive pack at DA.
This is as far as I could get with closeup planets without the use of Terragen 2. Work is entirely done in Photoshop and 3ds max. The most challenging thing about this one were the clouds. They had to look like they have substance and really float above the planet.
Anyway, here it is...

A very cool space shot...especially like the central glow on the water of the planet....the starfield seems a bit painted or illustrated....still, excellent work!
