Description

Back to Bryce after playing with fractals for a while. A good diversion, tho...and glad to have had one selected for the weekly fractal showcase. My miserable headcold is finally subsiding and I will try and catch up with comments. They sure can pile up when you're away from the computer for a few days time. Trees are Alpine and were created with the multi-randomize selection and repositioned, resized. Sky is a custom created from a preset. Bryce 6.1 Frame postwork with PhotoScape 3.2 Thanks for looking in and any comments.

Superb realistic composition Keith, I like the mats you've chosen for the ground and the camera placed among the trees with this mountain in the distance. Wonderful effect, another fantastic Bryce work of yours!

Great composition here...I love you use/depiction of light, and as always, your presentation is superb. This is quite a restful and inviting image. Needless to say, I like it quite a lot!

Very nice custom composition. My area had our first...Rapid City, SD had a 3.6" a hour for 5 hours blizzard; worse of it missed us - this time...Guess I better start thinking winter scenes ;-)

Beautiful scene and great atmosphere....my only crit is that the trees and foreground is too dark and it would have been nice to see more detail in the trees to give them more demension....the atmosphere and composition is great....very nicely done!

I thought you must be laid low, glad the cold is going, Keith. Great to see you back with a Brycescape too. Congratulations on your fractal success. The sky tones pick up well on the snow covered mountain and filter down through the dark canopy of the lower altitude trees. Winter must be here! Dave

Excellent work, Keith. I love the strong black, proud trees in total contrast to the snow on the distance mountains... they know winter is coming, but they are ready for it.

Feeling cold already looking at this image Keith, however it looks like a great place to wrap up warm and go for walk. Nice how the trees have kept hold of some of their leaves to protect themselves with, but they won't last long hey. Great to see another Bryce render from you and I'm glad your cold is subsiding. Tony.
