My friend and Sister-in-law introduced me to Renderosity and Daz 3D one day and I have been hooked ever since. I am just learning but thanks to all your comments and ratings It gives me hope that one day I will be as good as all of you. My interests include my Husband and family, ceramics, working out doors, especially with my roses. I like hummingbirds, photography and of course my newest hobby, 3D art.

Great image, however the green filter does make her skin look sickly or at least like an alien... maybe if you reduced the amount of green it might work better otherwise, well done on the pose and lighting

I think the colors are fine, her wings and outfit work well with the light. she's beautiful and graceful.

I like it.. learning the filters takes time, but it's fun learning... using different layers is also a great thing to learn. Keep at it, you're off to a good start. seth

Quite contrary Jane. The atmosphere turned out fantastic and your character, outfit and wings look awesome. Iv'e had the issue with the greenish look as well, but I think it works great here with the background.

Actually I think this is a cool effect. I like the overall wash of color. Really nice. As for tips, I personally read all kinds of magazines in relation to digital artwork and just play around in Photoshop to see what will happen. You never know until you try and hey, there's always the undo button if it doesn't work. So my suggestion would be to keep playing - that's half the fun anyway! :)
