Description
When I awaken each morning I open my eyes to the sun,
Light washes over me harsh and unforgiving.
I roll over and look first at the carpet and then the door,
No one there, no sound.
Sitting on the edge I wonder to myself..."What will this new day bring?".
I sigh and realize that this picture is always the same...a photo in my mind.
I rise up and begin again.
