Description
Inspired by Lord of the Rings - the Fellowship heads for the pass of Caradhras, unaware that Saruman has set a trap.
A GeoControl 2 terrain, with a lot of retexturing work in Vue 6I. No postwork.
Terrain detail best viewed at full size.
Thanks for viewing.

The terrain is majestic, and the texture is amazingly detailed. The group of people in the valley adds an important sense of scale. I'm not sure about the birds- they all have extremely similar posses. (Are there birds that high?)

Obviously excellent terrain! Regarding the texures, top of moutains is perfect, probably some grass layer would have given a better effect in the dale. Excellent perspective elsewhere!

Great LotR inspired image, the terrain is the main star in this and it looks very cool, ex PoV and render.

Dang! I love the exploration party. Your sediment flows are really well done.

Good terrain and original POV, although the vale is quite empty with no details. Anyway...good work!

Very good work. It does "pop" in full size. Unfortunetaly, in full size it also becomes very notorious the grain in the fog, in the upper right part of the image. I really do not like the birds. I find them distracting (I almost didn't see the people because I was looking at the birds, I thought they were the focal point), I find them very "artificial" (IMO, these birds should be used at a larger distance, due to their simplicity of shape and textures) and it's unlikely to find seagulls so high in the mountains. Apart from the birds, this is an excellent image.
