Description

Playing with a couple of new items I picked up from Daz as a result of posting two images in November's Bryce gallery...this image uses a plant from the Alien Botanicals set and a lighting gel from a lighting pack for Bryce. The terrain is a mossy rock texture from cgtextures.com,and the foliage is a Bryce preset.Rendered in Premium setting with soft shadows selected.THanks for viewing and comments!

Great plants! Just as I like, alien and familiar at the same time. I also like the camera angle. Good job!

Another great image!!! It's refreshing to see some alien landscapes populated by foliage/lifeforms for a change. Wonderful use of the soft shadows feature in Bryce. It can add to the render time but depending on the requirements of the image the results are worth the wait. 5+

These are really cool, Neil. The colors and dark background really make the image pop. Great render.

I like the colors, the trees are unique which is great. I'm not fond of the image though. Just doesn't do anything for me, it almost seems like there is no land formation that these trees are popping out of. However I love the dark dreary sky! Great mood
