Description
I thought that I would take a break from posting my drawings and put up a photo. Not to worry though, tomorrow I have a drawing for you again. I just finished it tonight, but I didn't want to post it just yet.
This is just a photograph of odds and ends around the house. They are always just lying there, almost never being used, so I used them. It's sort of an artistic, not-something-that-normal-people-would-ever-take-a-picture-of type of thing. And then I wrote a poem.
I am Odd and you are End
Will you always be my friend?
Together we lie here alone
In this place that we call home
Maybe someday they will need us
In the end it all comes to trust
Maybe we will be in art
even an important part
So you are Ends and I am Odds
I guess we’ll have to trust in gods
To keep us safe until the end
For you will always be my friend

I think your odds and ends have found their purpose (one of their purposes at least) in this photo. Gathered together into a group, the many have become one with a single goal. Not all things in life will be shoved into it's designed slot, such is the case here... rather than fitting neatly into the pigeon-hole into which they were created for, they have become uniquely different and thereby morphed into something beautiful together.. beautiful photo, wonderful words to express it.
