Perfect POV! The shape and form make this a great choice for black & white.

What a great B&W image ! I was on holiday during that week, so it is really a delight to have the staff’s weekly choice to identify some fantastic uploads… Congratulations for your selection in LWitG (Last Week in the Gallery – week 46-2008 ) ! 98.gif

this really has a terrific sweep to it, and your detailing is wonderful yet with just enough softness to make it almost painterly. I like that you gave so much space to the stone precipice, it makes the picture feel monumental; and it gives the water a more intimate feel. This was the first picture I saw, while walking through your gallery, and it shows what an eye you have. As an aside, I was in Mallorca years back; and was at this Bay. But you've brought out great majesty that I was too dull-sighted to see. You coaxed the inner life out of this and gave it back to the world. Beautiful work. And the lighting on the sand is beautiful too. Congratulations on LWitG. I know some of the people who get into that, and with photos like this, you belong there!
