once again, we have your colors, your luminous way of combining them, your portrayal of leaves as moving washes & blobs of paint, each seemingly alive, and your coloration of the trunks with such beautiful blobs of color throughout, and the gentle dappling of the snow, as well as that deep blue in the background interrupted by more luminous blues in the shadows...this is what you do. It's a simple landscape, but it's eminently alive; and for a winterscape, it feels as alive as spring to me. I'd be happy to own one of these in my home, but I'm glad it's posted; heartful art shouldn't only sit in one place, it belongs to the world. Beautiful...
