Description
Herbivore from Middle Permian(255 million years ago) of South Africa.
2.5 to 3 m long (skull 50 cm); weigth 700 to 1000 kg.The naso-frontal boss is raised into a sort of horn (Keratocephalus means - "horned head").Possible lifestyle was similar to modern hippos (nostrils are at the top of the snout,typical to semiaquatic animals).
