Description

BROKEN Broken Into a million pieces My hands search the pile For meaning Something recognizable Solid I turn a piece Pick it up Put it down My hands falter Fall still Defeated There is nothing In these shattered remnants That is familiar But still ... My hands flutter Over the pile of shards Those fragments of my heart Broken Into a million pieces The day we said goodbye .......... From the archives ... .......... Oh Tara... I feel the pain. An all too familiar feeling that none of us want to experience. Excellent...

That second verse I thought you were talking about Ronnie and his crockery from yesterday. #:0) I guess there are quite a few fella's that can relate to this as well Tara, fortunately I am not one of them. I'm one of the lucky ones I guess. Excellent work. Bravo!!!!!

Beautiful and touching words. You have such a gift for putting these thoughts from a place deep in your soul down on paper. I wish I had that gift.

Tara, so articulate and beautifully expressed. What a sad, but most lovely poem. It speaks from the heart, and directly to the heart, and reaches deep down evoking such intense emotion--a most admirable gift that you have. The colours and the very font of the image seem to speak for themselves; and the poem. Most wonderful and powerful composition!

WOW! There is truth, and then there is poetic truth...the second is always far more intense and visceral than the first. This is a gorgeous, and harrowingly true piece of writing. It moves with an elegant grace that I appreciate greatly, and the image that accompanies it works perfectly! Great stuff and I'm glad I'm catching up on viewing.
