Description

Still experimenting... Just noticed, at this angle I've really messed up the cheekbone area. Back to the drawing board methinks. Oh well. Take Care Rob

when it is a creation purely from one's mind then you are the only one that can say it is not to your satisfaction, but to me he looks awesome

Looking good Nanothect! Theres some nice scaly details going on there. Hit 'P' next time before you render so that it's in proper perspective view and it'll put the design more in peoples faces :o)

I agree with the comments above. Don't see anything wrong with the cheekbones--just makes him look genuinely alien. It is probably just the angle of the POV, but in this render it does look to me like he has another face on the end of his nose! I am not suggesting that you change anything, unless it is the angle of your camera POV. That is one cool humanoid!!!

Yes the cheekbone looks out of place a bit, but the overall modelling is excellent.

I think you need a more human form for the cheekbones to grow from..Alot of ppl consider any alien cheekbones anything because they are alien and can be different..BUT when viewed from our own ideas having a more reconisable structure will bring you better results in the end.Thats what Ive learn anyway. We need to be able to feel like they are not to far from our own skeletal strctures for more belief..perhaps ,maybe ,whad dya reckon..?Oh well,my thoughts anyway..cheers cal
