To all of my mother's Renderosity friends:
It saddens me to no end to tell you that my mother, Mina, passed on May 31st, from endometrial cancer. She is survived by my father, Roger, and myself. I apologize for not letting you all know sooner, but her passing has left me with a broken heart and it is very hard to write this, even now. I don't suppose there will ever come a time that it will be easier.
I know how much she loved you all, how much it meant to her to have met such wonderful people, and how much it meant to her to create & share her art with you. I am leaving her work here for a while, as tribute to her, her beauty, her talent & her love.
Brightest Blessings to you all!
Heather
 Mina's daughter
Thanks to all for stopping by and hope you enjoy your visit.

"I get out my work and have a show for myself before I have it publicly.
I make up my own mind about how good or bad or indifferent it is.
After that the critics can write what they please.
I have already settled it for myself so flattery
and criticism go down the same drain and I am quite free.

A most beautiful way to remember those who sacrificed so much for reasons of their own. This is an outstanding image Mina... the cold, frozen gaze that looks out from behind the frosted pane, were the last thoughts of fear, or maybe the realization that all was lost and this view would be the last...? Super image Mina... this is by far one of my favorites done by anyone here. It is a deeply touching reminder of the coldness, and at times the hopelessness of war. Remember them all, matters not which side they fought on. They were our brothers. seth

In Canada it's Remembrance day, same holiday --different name--today I'll be flying to BOTH holiday names as i border cross in the name of IRON once again ! Your art work here today is perfect for the title--and should've been the LP jacket for the 'record'year ago !

it's fantastic and amazing how eerie this is. the hair/spiderweb on her cheek is so cool! I misread your name as "mine" and that made this even more spooky.

This reminds me of the scene in Wuthering Heights where the ghost of Cathy appears at the window. Great mood and I love it!

She is either a prisoner behind the ice, or a danger should it melt. Intriguing image. And a salute to our Veterans. I've known several who gave up their lives fighting for the USA. CC

Not much to say! My dear, your marvelous image speaks volumnes! This is really gorgeous gothic artwork, beautifully composed into a moody, silent stillness where the soul is stripped bare and all pretenses are laid aside ... stunning image, my friend. Wowowwww ...

Definitely Frigid looking, awesome work Mina. As a Vet I prefer Not to remember the Wars too but it is rather difficult to forget and here's hoping we Never again treat our Service Vets the way we treated those of the Viet Nam era. Peace
