Description

Every year, our house owner Lee (the bearded guy in the duster in the back) transforms the front porch into an environment and micro-play as a means to hand out candy and make the experience a bit unforgettable. In previous years, the porch productions have included Narnia, Star Wars recruiting offices, the Inn of the Prancing Pony (Lord of the Rings), the French Revolution complete with working (non-lethal) guillotine, a C-movie studio, Hogwarts, and a pirate recruitment center. This year the theme was The Golden Compass. Lee transformed the porch into an airship. Our housemate Mike created a polar bear suit for himself. Last year he made a minotaur suit for another to wear (Mike was a very tall Mr Tumnus instead). Joleen is in the upper left as a Witch.
