Tribute to JCD Congratulations to JCD on being chosen AOM! I’ve been a fan of his for some time, and it is good to see that others recognize the outstanding quality of his work. He’s the kind of artist here at Rendo that provides the rest of us with reasons to keep learning and improving. This image uses his “Hanger Bay 35” in the background. This piece follows up on the idea of a futuristic Drow. Here she is in conversation with a friend as they walk from their craft on some arid, windswept plant. It’s part of a visual story that I have been developing for some time. Why she is wearing a raincoat on a desert planet? When I asked her that question, her cryptic reply was “I need someplace to keep my stuff.” Hmmm. Stay tuned.
