Description
I thought I would venture across the Atlantic tonight to my favourite city in the world - New York - where I captured this image a couple of years ago while friends and I took a wintery walk in Central Park. One of my dreams has always been to spend a year in NYC - each of the four seasons. Well, a dream can change you know - mine certainly has!!! *smiles*

Oh, a very sweet foto, love the golden tree tops!! San Francisco has always been my favorite city, but then, I've never been to New York!! And dreams, oh yes they can come true, if only sometimes for a short while!

Memories, memories. My grandmother used to take me to NYC for grand adventures as an 8 and 9 year old. Can you imagine a very small, fragile looking, 80 year old lady taking a young boy all around the big city by subway without a care in the world for our safety? Central Park, Radio City, Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Automat, Museum of Natural History...you name it, we went there. This was a big part of my education! Nice shot and like the sepia too. Bill

So Carin, NYC is your favourite city. You haven't been to Venice yet have you, or Sydney lol. Still you are more likely to find me in Madagascar than a city ful of mad gas (guzzling) cars but I sure would give Venice a shot. Lovely depiction of cold though
