Description

Well, after a 5 minute walk, we are now on the bridge that spans the falls. For a small waterfall it is very noisy, water dancing everywhere, singing a joyous song of freedom as it flows down the rock face towards its meeting with the Washougal River. Looking at the rocks we can see that this creek has been here for a very long time, all the edges are smooth. Such is the power of water, given time anything wears down. We'll stand here above the falls and watch the water dance. Looking out over the area we can see the area that we looked at over the side of the cliff. It looks very different from this perspective. We almost expect to see some Nyriads playing in the pools, but that is not to be this day, too many humans walking up and down the paths near this spot. Thank you for all your comments and faves on the last image. I really appreciate them. I'm glad you are enjoying this hike as much as I am. Have a great Wednesday Mike

Dude, are you a professional tour guide in disguise? LOL this whole serie & narration is A++! I'd seriously consider putting together a "photobook with narrative" I was you :-)

looking at this, I got a cool idea for a coffee table - I love it when that happens - lol... but like all the other little ideas, they get thrown in a drawer and forgotten - money has a way of controlling everything - lol
