Description

How many folks go to the zoo and come home with a bee image? Please ZOOM on this for detail...not just of the bee but the flower too. Looking through my files for a change of pace shot, I came upon this little guy taken this past July. Time to say thank you all again for your recent helpful comments and favorite selections. bee-yootiful!! I'm a sucker for these macro shots - your colors here are just terrific - not over saturated and extremely pleasing. The DOF works perfectly here, with the colors of the bee and the yellow-toned background. Your composition is also primo!

I usually look for other critters in the zoo here because of the limited ability to make a clear unobstructed capture without dealing with chain link wire.excellent macro
