Description

Firstly, I would like to apologize to fans of Joan Jett and perhaps Ms. Jett herself. The concert marked on the tickets is completely fictionalized. In fact, I do not believe Joan Jett is even touring at the present time. But, I chose Joan because all the time I worked on this piece the tune I Hate Myself For Loving You bounced around in my head. So there! And, my thanks to everyone who took the time to view and/or comment on my recent Halloween renderings. Thank you for making them such a huge success. This is another Poser 7 rendering featuring mytilus' NewsBabe Rene character. When I started, I had just wanted to show off the new hair prop which I had recently purchased last month. But, as always, the scene grew into more than I was expecting. Rather a lot like my own hair. And most honourable mentions to those artists who have provided free contributions which I have used here. mytilus for NewsBabe Rene For V3. geralday for the book props. ISOP for the gloves from Casablanca Suit for M3. Galbraith for the locker prop. Zippo for the guitar. jtrout for the Riding Hat. zippo@mugi.site.ne.jp for the Laptop Computer. I also made use of the Victoria 3 Piercing Pack. Some pre-production was accomplished with GIMP 2.4

Great little scene Clayton and I must say you captured a true old fashioned style here that I like. As for that song I was a big fan of Joan Jett and love it along with about everything else she sung.

Awesome! The lighting is wonderful. I love the old style here, Joan Jett aside it reminds me of the 50's. I too love that song.

Love this idea. Great execution. Can't ever go wrong with V3. She's still the best Vicki model IMHO. About Joan Jett, she's one of my favorites. I can't tell you how many times I listened to the Runaways in the 70s. She was in Toronto recently, promoting her new album. She was on Strombo's show: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sdNiVhrxdjE

Superb image! Great rendering! In short, this is gorgeous work. I especially like the sense of lighting and the realistic poses for both of the characters. The little details get me as well--the hat hanging in the background, the books! There's a whole world inside of this image, and it's very, very well done!
