Description
Reach out and touch someone... now what in the heck is that supposed to mean? Are we getting new phones? Not at all. There are times when we should reach out and touch someone... touch them at the heart level. There are times when someone who is totally unknown to us needs the soul touch of another person. Do we know when that is? No, we do not always know. However, at the soul level we truly do know when someone needs our kindness. Then there are those times when someone reaches out to us in the most simple of ways by just glancing our way and smiling. That is when they have reached out to us. So today... just for today... let us reach out to someone and do a random act of kindness. It can be as simple as holding a door open for someone... smiling at someone... or just saying hello as you pass by someone. The real trick in reaching out is allowing ourselves to do these things for someone we do not know. The most amazing things happen when we do this... by doing a random act of kindness, we will lift the heart of another and will forever change them because of that one act. We will also change because we made a choice to give joy. Just think about it. How many times in the past did we suddenly feel better because someone smiled at us? Kind of makes you wonder, doesn�t it? So go out there today and be that random act of kindness. You just might find out that you like it. How divine. How simply divine.

Random acts of kindness reassures us of the true meaning of life and that is every person we touch in this way is being made more important then ourselves. I found this image of Albert Einstein smiling to approach the question of whether people smile while writing fractal scripts. I think in this day and age, it is very important to always be kind to the people you meet. There is so much stress in the daily lives of most people that a smile from anyone can be a bright spot. A lovely and tender image to go with that need for tenderness in dealing with people one meets each day.
