here is another shot of cotton I took in late Sept. of this year. I like it. hope you do too. i was not sick just been busy that all. thanks for looking and comments

Short staple cotton not long staple cotton like from Egypt. I'm just repeating a school lesson. How long is long and how short is short I don't know. I also know that cottom bolls are very sharp when they open to show the cotton from some that were brought to school by kids that went through Georgia to Florida at Christmas.

I used to stop on the road and pull a handfull off the fence so as I could grab a seed or two to plant in my yard. They have the most beautiful flowers. Wonderful memory shot.

"We don't cotton to strangers around here." So this is what my T-shirts are made of. Very interesting capture with the cotton balls caught on the wire, Jock! Contrasts well against the reddish background.
