Description

I used a selected Highpoint from a bryce alternative 3d landscpe and pushed the pixels through transparencies and repetition to create an organic feel to it in XaraXtreme. I enjoyed the excercise and it was just abit of fun to see what I could produce and came up with this. Hope you enjoy the view Thanks much for havin a peek

I'm back in 2008, after doing several of your most recent pieces last night; but I wanted to pay homage to your abstracts too---esp to the earlier days, when I hadn't yet found you on RR. You did a few of these types---this is like a closeup of the inner life of a mysterious organism, with all these repeated shapes and 'body shells' and segments. It's like a meeting of several prehistoric insects or amphibians, all piling on top of each other because they're so happy to see each other. Fascinating shapes and repetitions! And your intense red lighting, along with the "irised" effect---ie, that it's surrounded by black, as if a camera's iris moved-in on the shot---makes it feel like we're getting a rare glimpse into a very private moment among friends. Beautiful and mysterious. And very, very complex.
