I have a confession to make at heart I am glamour photographer, but ever since joining Renderosity. And seen the landscape work that you and the fellow Renderosity members do, I have changed my point of view about landscape photography, I now look forward to weekends, just so I can get out into the bush and take photos, and feel great about them, thank you for this inspiration and keep up the good work.

My guess-- (A) She was handholding the camera when she took this low-light exposure. The act of depressing the shutter button with her right finger was just enough to cause a subtle streaking of the image. (B) Her tripod was not quite locked down. Again, the camera moved, either by subtle pressure of her finger or, if she was using a shutter release cable, by the weight of the camera. I got similar results when I was taking long exposure shots of a Lunar eclipse. The results here are quite pretty, by the way.
