Been doing this over a year now and I'm still not quite sure how to define it. Is it art or not? Can we be said to be really creating our images, given that we're using computer programs and models made by others? And, for that matter, what is its official title? Personally I call my work "using Daz Studio because of a total inability to draw or paint." It doesn't exactly trip off the tongue. I suppose it doesn't matter in the end. As PG Wodehouse said, it makes me happy and keeps me out of public houses.
My main influences are Manet, Edward Hopper, Caravaggio and Pieter Bruegel. The first two gave me an interest in realism, the third created an addiction to light and shade, and the last nurtured my overall misanthropy.

Why Is This Here?
All my renders are there, including the ones I hate. There's also a rag-bag of assorted writings and photos.
I've also recently started a blog about this whole business:

Thanks to everyone who's submitted Free Stuff to this site - especially some of the wonderful Vicky textures. Sorry to anyone who I don't credit. It's down to the disorganisation of my hard drive rather than an evil heart.

Wonderful series of image, I love the changing seasons :) But I'm really surprised one of them wasn't trying to open the window to jump, lol.

Okay I am trying to compose myself after reading the comments about jumping and also trying to supress my dislike for accountants because my ex-brother in law was one. Really well setup scene Andrew and I did zoom in and I like the way you illustrated the change in seasons not just with the changing of the clothing and knick knacks on the desk but also in the view outside. I'm also trying to figure out if your trying to make a point about the ladies work load but I don't think so.

LOL - I want to know exactly when it was that you stopped by MY OFFICE for inspiration. And yes, folks, it really IS like this! Excellent attention to detail :)

It turned out they did have a bit of excitement this year, no? I agree with Cimaira, I would have expected more tears and gore around winter, the way things have been going of late. Great image, and I love the attention you put in all the little details of the passing seasons. Small nitpick: why does he get to change outfits and she doesn't? Oh well... Great picture!

Great idea well pressented love the little changes very funny! Great posing and expressions and little changes on desk don't sale yourself short you have talent and even if you don't create everything that you use does not mean it is not art!

This artwork captures the often-overlooked humor and monotony of a year in finance. The changing seasons and detailed office setting create a relatable and engaging scene. myprepaidcenter.com
