"How much is that doggie in the window? The one with the long waggly tail." My mom used to sing that song to me and my siblings when we were very young. And Old Shep...How I cried over that one. :) Wonderful image and sure brought back the memories for me.

This is so clever and finely crafted--right down to how the weight of the fingertips press against the glass and the texture in the artificial turf. I love the facial expressions and poses, and the text and background and all the details are well done. An accomplished illustrative work. Very cute, too. : )
