Description

I haven't uploaded an image of my granddaughter Kayla in a while. This was taken a couple of weeks ago. It is just amazing how quickly she has changed from a baby to a toddler to a young girl. She is only 2y 6m now but sometimes she carries the wisdom of the world in her eyes. Why did I not see this in my own sons? I treasure every moment I am privileged to spend with her. Thank you for popping in and for the comments and favs on the three daisies of last night. Have a super weekend. Hugs, Carin xx

I can only echo the above Carin, a wonderful portrait and one to treasure, I'm sure Kayla will like to look back on these pictures when she is a grown woman. They do not remain babies for long, so get as many as you can whilst she doesn't run away from the camera like a lot tend to do. Superb capture and presentation. Bravo!!!!!

Her beauty and tender face make me weep. How very gentle this is. I bet you did see the same look in your sons' eyes, but a mother cannot hang on to each tender moment in her children's lives like she can with grandchildren. If she did, she would never be able to let go of her babies and allow them to make their own way because she could never see them as adults. :-)

I'm sure your sons are charming people, but it's not been my experience that men in general (no matter their age) are the receptacles for the wisdom of the world. It makes sense to me that you see that in Kayla's eyes. Such a beautiful portrait ... she's absolutely lovely.
