Wonderful render, great atmosphere. I'm so sorry to hear of your loss and the bad health of your stepdad. Sometimes life can just seem to hand you to much to handle. Take care.

they say it takes time to get back to "normal"... I lost my Mother 7 years ago... It still hasn't gotten back to normal. I pray good things come your way to help you with the grieving.... back to the office is a good title. It looks like it's early morning and the office is just sitting there waiting for the employees to go back to work.

Nothing to do with the image: My sympathies and condolences on what you and your family is going through. Now, about this render: What 'lame' title? I'm still thinking about it! One speculation was that it was the mechs that were 'first ones at the office' - which would make them devices with AI. And, a good 'twilight' scene & render. That sort of lighting isn't easy to get right. For me, anyway.

Very nice image; I'd have preferred either a bit more contrast or more signs of blowing dust in the air to explain the dimness. Nicely laid out; love the cracked mud. My father died of cancer back in 1991 while I lived over in Singapore, and I couldn't come back for the funeral or anything as I had to preserve my vacation days in order to take a month off and help my mother finish the last corn harvest on the family farm a few months later. To this day I remember that last field; that last day; snow on the ground; perfect blue sky and clear sun; shutting down the internal hydraulics of the $75,000 John Deere and heading for home; the last harvest done. That corn field is now a fancy plant making disk-drive heads ...

Sorry to 'hear' about your Dad's, that is really sad, and can only commisserate with that feeling of helplessness. That is a great a render, and the dusky atmosphere is just fantastic!!

Lovely render. Really got that early morning, crisp, cold and slightly-misty feel to it. My sympathies and thoughts to you and your family.
