You should improve your surface skills. Also the 50/50 of sky and earth isn't so good. Clouds and sky are good.

Love the sky colours. I think the surfacing is OK; maybe the grass patches don't suit this arid terrain (seen a lot worse, though). On the 50/50 position of horizon, maybe a flatter pov (bringing the camera down) so that peak on the left breaks the horizon, would enhance the compositional aspect of the scene.
