BIO My name is PHillip Deck. Why call myself kindredsoul??Kindredsoul means a kindred spirit, I enjoy making fairies, tranquil landscapes and with kids in it...I started out using Bryce, then later went to Vue after learning it has ecosystems which really benefits in making forest scenes. Also Vue has excellent lighting model as well. Other than art, I like hiking, taking photos, work on jigsaw puzzles and enjoy being with family and friends.

Really beautiful work, are you sure you haven't used Poser before? Just kidding, lovely render!

Very nice, specially since you're starting with Poser. I specially like the vegetation and the light on it. Very good work on that. Regarding composition, I think the girl is too centered. The "rules of composition" say that the focus of an image should off-centered (there's several sub-rules for that, like the "rules of thirds", etc). In this case, I think the girl should be to the left. About hair: Normally, when I import hair from poser to vue, I change two things: a) the highlights. These are many times black and the values are way wrong. So, I change the color to whiteish (with a little tint from the hair color) and adjust the highlight value to my liking (normally 40/20 or so, but it depends on the hair). b) the bump. Some hair pieces come with bump, others not. Those who come, sometimes come with a wrong value. If it doesn't have bump, I simply connect the bump node to the texture map (b&w ouput). You must pay attention that many hair pieces have several objects. You have to do this for all.
