Description

I haven't been doing much art lately because I've been concentrating my limited free time on writing a novel. After about half a year, I'm done with my first draft, so I'm taking a bit of a break from it. Actually, all I'm doing in that break is working on art (or diagrams, plans, maps and eventually a cover) for the novel. Since it's pretty much all focused on the commander of a space craft in the opening months of the Mars-Belter War, the first thing I've finished is the detail sheet for the IMN Odin. The story is the detail. Thanks for viewing and commenting on my art. --Geir

Nice to see someone getting their teeth into a real project. There's always something special about that. I suppose we'll be seeing some more of the project at a later date. This technical sheet looks great. Hope it all goes well for you.

I like how you always put a lot of thought into your artwork. I'm sure it will be intriguing and full of detail. For now, cool detail sheet. I'm thinking that top right image containing the ship and planet, put into a space scene would rock as a render! Cool artwork once more my friend!

Terrific texturing on the ship, really makes it look "real". The lines look all comfy and organic. Glad to see a ship in "black box" orange :)

I really enjoy seeing the amazing detail that you put into your work. It's almost like reading a tech manual from some existing technology. Always worth checking out your work.

Welcome to the club, Geir. Two years and counting for the book I've been writing. It's a matter of the coming together of inspiration and available time. How long is your novel? And I must say that I do enjoy your artwork.
