Way too many lines for hand work. That is where the decisions diverge where you must either make it finer or leave it gross to allow more 3d corners and reveals. This says someone supplies you with the meshes and you texture and render them. Is that what you intended to say? With a Mercedes it surely could be. Always there is way too much to put even into a tutorial.

Explaining "Subpatches" and "Polygon Construction" would take pages and pages (and there's some great 'how-to's' out there on the web), so I just tell them "I build a car out of polygon shapes" and then explain how I texture them to make them "realistic" looking.
