Description

This is a view not everyone gets to see.. My friend and I both worked this show..I let him mix monitors all night.. It gave me a chance to play photographer.. This is the monitor console..which sits on the side of the stage..It controls the speakers On the stage..it's what the band hears..not what the audience does.. It's the same Midas H300 we use for mixing for the audience..We have a pair of them.. Even tho there is some motion blur..I still like this one because of the lights..which was NOT intentional..It just happened

I like the indication of motion. Not a bad thing, in my opinion. Excellent capture!

I always love that smoky, soft feel stage lights make--great shot!!

I don't know how you do it... or your friend... or anyone who works these things. I have stood and watched, studied and wondered... I suppose it helps not to have a tin ear... :-) I like this behind the scenes shot too. The lighting on the console and the spotlights are really great.

Great shot of the board! The way it's lit makes the band totally secondary. Nicely done!
