Description

This is a photo of an aluminum print/mixed media work. The other one in the series of 4 leaves that I didn't get signed before photodoc. Image area is 10" x 16" [25.4 x 40.6 cm]. Last for a while until the next group comes around for photo doc. & a gallery trip next week out-of-state. Cheers, every one have fun & thanks for the many nice complements, fav's et cetera! caio ya'll, tim ps: a BTW comment, the "Inner Dance" one, my little joke on the gallery as an over-the-top image - as predicted they didn't get it to the point of signing me for a year. ~shakes head~ life is just to wacky.

3 or 4 rich layers living next to each other...your whites never cease to call me, they have a combo of pinkish/bluesh tints mixed with some violets & ambers, they can look like fur, like exquisite mold, like the more luminescent fish, or like just what they are: beautifully decayed leaves. Your black here is more articulated & less intrusive than your last leaf, though its size dominates half the leaf; and your curled edges are ballet-like, adding grace and poetry to the places the leaf meets the world. As always, your choice of background is very deft—this one having a little dried-earth or marble-veined texture to it—and you've lightly shaded or lightened its meeting points with the leaf. And then your borders introduce delicate hues almost like a shimmer on the horizon. A great series, tim, said without the slightest bit of surprize...Have a successful trip, and the site will wait eagerly until your return. Oh...a fav.
