A great wee monster, Rozanne. I spotted a solitary rose, the other day, still with all its petals on, despite a gusting wind. I did take a snapshot, but the wind was buffeting it too much, I'm afraid. The petals on this one seem a bit long in the tooth, so just right for a late season afternoon salad... ;o) I trust that you are both well. Are you back out using that bicycle? ;o) Warm regards, from a dry (!!!), crisp, Glasgow, John.

You can why a swarm of these with their endless appetites would be considered a plague. Great shot, Rozanne!

well! This creature's having a good time, though not too sure the flower is, lol...another of your fascinating captures of nature's more private moments, and though just a litttttttle creepy (as it's supposed to be), it's endlessly fascinating & fun. I have a feeling that one day all the insects of your community will get together and write a letter to the editor for you showing them as a carnivorous lot when in actuality they're quite gentle, do charity, and like Mozart...Terrific, fun shot. And I love your new avatar. (You should save them, you can sell them on e-bay one day; a little potpourri of your many creatures...)

He looks different than our Indiana crunchers. If I didn't know you lived in Spain, I would have sworn the little guy was French.
