...These clouds rolled in so quickly...left me with these questions , Raincoat? Winter coat? or sweater?

Nice capture, Kathleen. It is definitely that time of year, but I'm sure that it gets much colder over there, than in our temperate climate. Rules of thumb for surviving Scotland's weather: 1 - If you can see the sun, it's a trap, take your umbrella with you. 2 - If you can feel the damp in your bones, get something waterproof on. 3 - If you can see your breath put a hat on, or stop sleeping in the fridge. 4 - If you can feel the cold nipping your nose put a scarf on... and 5 - If you can't feel your toes, put your gloves on, and go to the hospital, because you've probably drunk too much, and damaged your liver, rather than that you've managed to get frostbite... ;o) Warm regards, John.
