Passing thru the whirl of days
...as flowers wilt
my mind remains still, quiet
Initial interest curiosity
The newness brought
A fresh vigor, a discovery
...watching the deep river, swiftly flow
as all around, remains still, calm
Clearly
Clearly the lines grabbed at you,
Radiating up from the page
...sunshine angles deep into the pond
leaves no trace at the surface
The joy of reading
Enjoyable, easy
As I listened to your Muse
..knowing death
one lives forever
You brought yourself
Into my world
And we sat for endless periods
...when, is never the question
when, is becoming the answer
Enjoyed the moment
But, as it all goes
You went on...
