Description

I'm beginner, so I would be very happy if some visitors could give me some advices how to make the scene a little bit more realistic. Thanks for your help....

Well, I'm not the greatest expert, but since I don't see any answers yet... #1 = composition #2 = lighting & texturing (& bumps, displacement, etc)!!! Quality shows! If you know what makes a great pic in photography -or what draws the eye in other Vue pics-, you have got your answer? great advice is sold here: http://www.asilefx.com/index.php (software training) Terrific training can be found at www.geekatplay.com, loads of it for free lots of TUTs here: http://www.silverblades-suitcase.com/ Peggy Walters gives Vue courses! http://www.lvsassociates.com/register/product_info.php?cPath=1_37&products_id=230 undoubtedly veeery profound! and there are TUT's @ http://www.e-onsoftware.com/support/tutorials/ TUT's will take your work to the next level and beyond... Did you consider growing some weeds or ..... on your carpet lawn? Good luck! Looking forward... ;-D

Actually that is well framed and quite balanced. To get really good images you need to first, before worrying about the technical details of software, learn basic composition. There are many great sites full of information with a simple Google search. Compare your textures and materials to the real world. Use lots of references. Photos of real scenes will tell you what is lacking. Pay attention to atmosphere and lighting as it is critical to realism. Complexity also adds realism. Leaves and twigs here and there. A child's toy laying on the lawn. A contrail in the sky. Dirt and blemishes on things. Of course if you are doing Architectural Visualization you will want perfect surfaces, but for realism you have got to have dirt and clutter. This image looks like you followed the rule of 3's which is a good place to start. My eye was drawn to the central object which is correct. Have a look at the galleries at this site to see some of the very best: http://forums.cgsociety.org/

Keep it up! taurus
