carved in limestone, 1721 That's 287 years ago. Mayhaps, thine forebears used ye puritan-speak then near here, with Paul Revere. I love ye font and ye light last Saturday. ND70 photo, 105mm lens. Enjoy!

Nice photo. FYI, The "y" is actually pronounced "th" (as in this). It was a writing evolvement from a kind of upside-down h (looked kinda like a 4 with an open top), from the Middle and Old Englich letter representing the "th". Early typeset used the upended h and the y as well.
